sold out

Sharon Quirke's original work from 2024, 'Maple Grove #1'.

24” x 24”. Acrylic on Canvas.

This piece is about cool breeze and sunsplash. About drifting leaves and crunch underfoot. It is about fresh air, light and oxygen that surrounds and uplifts. It is about the life in our veins - as the nurturing earth flows into branches which in turn reach into vibrant space.

Maple Grove #1 is the culmination of 40 years of study in movement and technique to deliver layer upon layer of colour and shape to wow in any environment.

The stretcher bars for the canvas are built by hand.  Red and yellow cedar is locally sourced from Sunshine Coast beaches, and hand-milled by master craftsman, Ian Thomson.
